Hello! I'm a staff writer at The Atlantic, based in New York. I love writing reported narratives and profiles. I'll cover anything interesting, but I tend to focus on Americans' mental and spiritual health (and occasionally the American West because I might be its biggest fan). I'm grateful for job-sanctioned adventures, and in the name of immersive journalism, I've gone to adult summer camp, spent six months adopting the habits of a viral pastor, and learned to ride a polo pony. I'm also a singer and grew up taking inventory with tally marks at my father's rock 'n' roll music store in Los Angeles, Westwood Music.
